LIFE Ionizers Reviews | LIFE M-13 vs. Kangen Super SD-501

The new M 13 LIFE Ionizers reviewed vs Enagic’s Leveluk Super 501

New for 2016, LIFE Ionizers has introduced the world’s first 13 plate water ionizer for home use. Alkaline Water Ionizer Reviews was lucky enough to be first in line for the new machine, so we decided to review the new LIFE Ionizer by comparing it to the only other established heavy duty water ionizer – the Enagic Kangen Leveluk Super SD-501, Enagic’s commercial grade Leveluk.

The LIFE M-13 beat the Leveluk Super SD-501 in every category

The LIFE Ionizers M-13 and the Enagic Kangen Super SD-501 aren’t ordinary water ionizers, they’re heavy duty commercial-grade machines that make large amounts of alkaline water fast. Both of these machines have a flow rate of about 6 liters per minute at their maximum flow rate. Each of these machines are built for heavy duty use, and would work well for large families, in offices, health stores, gyms, and other commercial uses.

Despite being able to serve as heavy duty water ionizers, these machines couldn’t be more different. The LIFE M-13 has a lot more power, can reach much higher pH and ORP levels, and has a lifetime warranty. The M-13 can also convert between countertop use, and under the counter use with LIFE’s faucet kit. The Leveluk Super SD-501 can’t, it’s countertop only, there’s no way to convert it to under counter use.

Price: LIFE Ionizers M-13 $3,497 vs. Leveluk Super SD-501 $5,980

The biggest difference between these two heavyweights is the price. The M-13 is a bargain compared to the Leveluk Super SD-501, the M13 is $2,483 less. If you’re looking for the best deal on a heavy duty water ionizer, look no further – the LIFE Ionizers M-13 is the best deal on a heavy duty alkaline water machine, period.

Water Filtration – M-13 vs. Leveluk Super SD-501

LIFE M-13: The LIFE Ionizers M-13 comes with dual internal filters, and a prefilter system that LIFE Ionizers custom-configures based on your local water quality. Thanks to LIFE’s filtration system, LIFE water ionizers beat all other brands for water purity in a filtration test conducted by ETR Independent Laboratories.

Kangen Leveluk Super: The Kangen water machine comes with only one filter, which does not remove salts or heavy metals that may be present in your water. You can purchase a pre-filter system from Enagic for an extra $150, but Enagic won’t custom-configure the prefilter system for you. As far as how well it filters the contaminants in your water, you’re on your own.

pH and ORP – M-13 vs. Leveluk Super SD-501

Leveluk Super SD-501: The Kangen machine can’t get over a pH of 10, unless you use a chemical enhancer. The highest antioxidant ORP the machine can reach is about -500, unless you slow the flow rate of the machine way down. Unfortunately, slowing the flow rate down defeats the purpose of buying a heavy duty machine, since it’s flow rate drops down to less than a gallon a minute – comparable to many bargain-priced ionizers.

LIFE- M-13: The M-13 can reach a pH of over 12, and can even reach an acidic water pH of below 2! You also get an antioxidant ORP of over -900, these pH and ORP numbers are the highest we’ve ever seen from any water ionizer – ever. This means that the LIFE M-13 can truly deliver as a commercial water ionizer – you get the pH and ORP you want, without compromising flow rate like you do with the Kangen machine.

Power: Leveluk Super SD-501 vs LIFE M-13

Power is another area where the LIFE M-13 simply blows the Leveluk Super SD-501 away. The M-13 has 4 times as much power available as the Super SD-501 – 800 Watts vs. 200 Watts. The difference in power is the reason you need chemicals with the Super SD-501. The M-13 doesn’t need a chemical electrolysis enhancer, it has enough power to get the job done.

LIFE M-13: Has a modern SMPS power system, so it saves energy, and runs cooler and more efficiently.

Leveluk Super SD-501: Has a conventional transformer, which limits the amount of power this machine can use. The warranty is also affected by this.

Plates: LIFE M-13 vs. Leveluk Super SD-501

The LIFE M-13 has 13 plates, Enagic claims the Leveluk Super SD-501 has “7 and 5 plates” we assume this means that the Kangen machine may be a 12 plate ionizer, but Enagic doesn’t say for sure. The M-13 offers a MESH plate option, which increases the pH and ORP levels the M-13 can reach. Enagic Kangen offers only flat plates. Both machines use good quality plates.

Warranty: LIFE M-13, guaranteed for life vs. Super SD-501, 3 years warranty

The LIFE M-13 has a lifetime guarantee on parts and labor, something you should expect from a high end alkaline water machine like this. The Super SD-501’s warranty is anything but super; just 3 years parts and labor.

There is another problem with the Kangen water machine’s warranty. It is possible to destroy the plates in the kangen machine using Enagic’s chemical enhancers. Because of this, Enagic will not offer an adequate warranty for the Super SD-501. If you want an extended warranty, it costs $400 to extend Enagic’s warranty for another 4 years. For a machine that costs nearly $6,000 to begin with, this is outrageous.

LIFE Ionizers M-13 hands down winner vs. Leveluk Super SD-501

Clearly, this review of the LIFE M-13 compared to the Enagic Leveluk Super SD-501 was a rout. In LIFE Ionizer customer reviews, the M-13 has clearly established itself as the the  heavyweight contender to be beat. The M-13 is over $2,000 less than the Super SD-501, and outperforms it in every category. When you add to that the fact that the LIFE M-13 comes with better filtration, and a better warranty, the choice is easy to make, LIFE Ionizers, hands down.

LIFE Ionizer Reviews – Make the right choice – avoid LIFE Ionizer scams

If you’ve been looking around on the web for LIFE Ionizer reviews, you may notice that almost none of the water ionizer review websites actually review the LIFE M Series water ionizers. Why not? The M- Series is LIFE Ionizers current product line, any review of LIFE Ionizers should review the LIFE Ionizer M Series, or it’s a scam.

Why are all the other water ionizer review sites afraid to review the LIFE M Series? As you can see from this review, it’s likely that they’re afraid because their machines won’t compare to a LIFE M Series. Alkaline Water Ionizer Reviews reviewed the new LIFE M Series when they first came out, we knew these machines would be tough to beat, and wondered how all the water ionizer review sites that promote lesser brands were going to explain that. We now have our answer – they can’t.
